Kieron Sambrook-Smith appointed to UK Trade & Invest Defence Advisory Board (UKTI DAG), June 2008.
UKTI Defence & Security Organisation Defence Advisory Board will advise UK Trade and Invest on its strategy, objectives and activities for developing overseas business for UK firms in the defence and security sector.
The new UKTI Defence & Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) was formed on 1 April 2008 and has the responsibility for supporting defence and security exports. This new unit will continue to deliver services that are responsive to the needs of overseas customer governments and to UK businesses. It has a global reach combining the expertise previously in the UK MoD with the wider knowledge and resources of the UKTI network.
The DAG comprises 15 members, all of whom are able to speak with authority and experience of defence exports.
