WTG

Kieron was invited to become CEO in June 2010 by the Chairman and a majority group of shareholders. The company requires both financial and organisational restructuring with a view to growth. Of foremost importance is the renewal of the company’s business strategy that leverages their expertise delivering Secure Information Exchange (SIE) and Integrated Intelligence Management (IIM) solutions to secure government customers with requirements to surface and share sensitive data.

WTG’s Chairman Chris Conway, was formerly Chairman of Detica, sold to BAe Systems for £550m in 2008.

The Business

We are a boutique systems integrator delivering Secure Information solutions (secure collaboration and intelligence management) into Justice, Security & Intelligence (JSI). Our business is transforming data (up to Confidential) into intelligence (information surfacing) and implementing secure sharing applications via web, Email and collaboration mechanisms. Many of our projects are end-to-end, from initial complex business requirements analysis, design & build of bespoke applications around the User Interface / business logic, integration with state of the art data management technologies and the surrounding security infrastructure plus an overall managed service to IL3 in secure government/partner data centres.

We can count over 300,000 secure government users of the systems we have built & delivered (500,000 in total), across 20 or so critical national systems, managing over 100,000,000 nominal records.
